Anran Dai received her BA in Fine Arts with a focus on contemporary art and master degree in Professional design, specialised in environmental design from Dalian Polytechnic University.
During her studies, she had been awarded the first-class scholarship for postgraduate studies and the title of excellent graduate student for three consecutive years, and been honored with outstanding graduates, outstanding master thesis, and outstanding graduation design and other honors. Her design work won the silver award of the 4th International Environmental Protection Public Welfare Design Contest and the silver award of the Cross-Strait International Art Annual Award. Her works won the third prize of the oil painting category in the Fifth Academy Award of the National Art and Design Exhibition. She participated in many a key project and related confidential projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and related association meetings. She also participated in active shape design projects for curved structures and spatial structures of 2019 Parametric Architectural Design Workshop at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. She even participated in the 5th National Art and Science Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and New Media Art Innovative Talent Training of Tsinghua University in 2019, and the 3D Weaving Chinese Knot Project in the National Museum. She published many academic papers while in school.
Her undergraduate thesis is "Expression of Information Diversity in Contemporary Art" and her master thesis is "Formation and Evolution of Community Vegetable Market Space in Dalian's Multiple Historical Forms."
She is good at oil painting, hand-painting design, collage, wall painting, comprehensive material design, etc. Keen on participating in art exhibitions, pay attention to news on cutting-edge exhibition and art trends, carry out art tours, and explore city footprints. She is good at recording life with photography, and operates self-media from a unique perspective of artistic analysis.
