印度喀拉拉邦人。在印度卡尔卡特国家技术学院（National Institute of Technology Calicut）和克勒格布尔印度理工学院（Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur）分别获得本科和硕士学位，之后在马尼帕尔高等教育学院担任助理教授（Assistant Professor），并曾在金奈（Chennai，印度第6大都市、第4大都会区）担任城市规划师，制定地区发展规划和城市出行规划（urban mobility plans）。2018年秋进入浙江大学城乡规划学专业攻读博士学位。
I am a Ph.D. student in the Institute of Urban and Rural Planning Theories and Technologies in Zhejiang University. Hailing from Kerala, India, I have obtained my Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) degree from the National Institute of Technology Calicut (India) and my Master of City Planning (MCP) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (India).
Before joining Zhejiang University under the Chinese Government Scholarship programme, I have been working as Assistant Professor in Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India for over five years, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. I also have experience working briefly as Urban Planner in Chennai, India preparing proposals for district development plans and urban mobility plans.
I have previously researched on areas like regional analysis, transport connectivity and equitable development in India. My current research includes comparative study of Chinese and Indian urbanism with focus on urban processes and policies. I am interested in studies of urbanisation in Asia, effects of urbanisation in developing countries, and the application of big data in urban studies.
I enjoy observing and learning from different cultures, their language and built heritage.
