He Ju is Ph.D. candidate in the Zhejiang University (ZJU) College of Public Affairs (in the major of land resource management). He received his B.A. degree from ZJU in 2015. He is also sponsored by China Scholarship Council (CSC) to Columbia University as the visiting researcher (2019-2020).
He has been awarded ZJU Advanced Individual and Excellent Paper in the Social Practice Activities during the Summer Vacation (2012), ZJU Third-Class Scholarship for outstanding Students (2013), ZJU Second-Class Scholarship for outstanding Students (2014), ZJU Outstanding Graduate Leader Award (2017), and ZJU Award of Honor for Graduate (2017, 2018).
His research is focused on urban land redevelopment, inventory planning of urban land, and urban management and policy. He is author of many academic papers published on peer-reviewed international and domestic journals, including Cities, Sustainability, Journal of Natural Resources (in Chinese), China Land Sciences (in Chinese), etc. He is also author of the book, the Redevelopment Models of Urban Inefficient Construction Land under the Trend of Inventory Planning (in Chinese).
He has participated in many research projects, including Study on the Redevelopment Modes of Industrial Land in Shanghai (2015-2017), Research on the Disposal Mechanism and Policy Innovation of Land with Inefficient Use in Guangzhou (2017-2018), Study on the Theoretical Basis and Development Strategy of Economical and Intensive Utilization of Urban and Rural Construction Land (2017-2018), Study on the Modes of Economical and Intensive Utilization of Construction Land under the Trend of Inventory Planning (2017-2019), etc.
